Every piece of Castillo chocolates is more than just a sweet treat. It's a celebration of two homes (Colombia and New Zealand), a fusion of cultures and a passion that has found a place in the world. Our journey began in 2016 during a trip to Bogotá, Colombia, where we honed our skills in tempering chocolate with a French-Colombian chocolatier. This experience enhanced my passion for creating delightful chocolate confections, leading to the establishment of a business that emphasises quality, design, innovative flavours, and dedicated customer service.

I carry my Colombian heritage with immense pride, a heritage that inspires our bright colors, bold flavours and our unwavering dedication we pour into everything we do. At Castillo chocolates, we have channelled that energy into the art of chocolate making, merging artisan techniques with a touch of Latin American elegance and style, all crafted with a deep respect for our adopted home, Aotearoa. Each of our bonbons, truffles and designed chocolates is a work of art, meticulously crafted with premium Belgian dark chocolate to delight not only the palate but also the eye.
